The meat is good but I found the new rates unaffordable for a string without any charm or service! The meat is now less than 20 euros and if you are looking for a good piece but rather after 30 euros. All served with a mini dish of fries, beans or scalloped potatoes and in a canteen ... Only the proposed formula at lunch is a good value: 10.7 euros for a stone of beef trim with the choice and a small water bottle or glass of wine. Avoid the table in the back near the kitchen if you do not feel like cooking all day!

When you go to Hippo, we know what we will eat the menu changes very little. The dishes are generally good and the price / quality ratio right. Another advantage is serviced until minuit.Le service is fairly random. One chance in two that you are satisfied. I went there several times and in half the cases it has been "pampered" by the waitress (service impeccable, discreet and effective) in the other half of the cases, the service was terrible from start to end (45 minutes waiting for the aperitif, an appetizer that arrives at the same time as the flat plate so relieved that I did not finish, finish the dish along with the entry). To conclude, I would say it is a restaurant where you go when you do not know too Nice (avoids bad surprises) and when you have a desire to resto at 23h.
